So here I was, playing a war-hungry Terran... I noticed the Iconian's influence was getting way too strong, so I said to myself "Well, their military is pretty weak, and I just gave my arch-nemesis, the Altarians, a bloody nose so they won't bother me for a while. Time to get a-conquering." I went over and I was surprised to see that the iconians had a total of 3 planets. So of course, I started invading them... to my surprise, I found New Iconia to be totally over-populated... :SURPRISED: I have a save game if anyone wants =)

I'm lazy and can't be bothered to make a search! I blame my upbringing and all sort of socio-economic factor that have nothing to do with it!

Besides, as soon as I declared peace with the iconians, it went back to normal... though in the 10 turns of so I made a ton of cash? Yeah, imaginary money from imaginary people...

Either that, or within a week the New Iconians were so fed up of having to share their cubicle with half their extended family that they went on a massive blood-thirsty rampage and killed over 50,000 billion people.

I vote for the second.
