GalCiv 2 Theme

I don't want the background to be the teal that the collectors edition GalCiv desktop pattern sets the desktop. I set it to some other color with the desktop control panal, but every time I reset, it goes back. Is there any way to have that not happen?

hide everything on the desktop, set your desktop to a color you like, take a screenshot, make it wallpaper

Or create a 1 by 1 pixel bitmap on paintbrush with your favorite color, save it and use it as background stretched (Or use your desktop size and do not stretch it)
