WB broke Windows, please help!

I installed the trial, rebooted, and after I log in my desktop is blank. I can hit ctrl+alt+del and get a task manager or reboot, and that's it. I rebooted in safe mode, and removed WB, but I am still not getting my desktop back.

I also can't reboot normally - right about when it would shut off, it doesn't, and the mous gets wacky and rus all over the screen and I have to power cycle the pc.

Ok, new info.

I tried re-installing it from safe mode, hoping that it would reset itself or fix something. Now the machine is in infinite bluescreen reboot mode unless I use safe mode. I removed it again from safe mode, and I am still getting "IRQ_LESS_NOT_EQUAL" bluescreens during the Windows XP boot screen.

Ok, after trying this 3x, and having several reboots, bluscreens, and manual poweroffs, Windows has automagically repaired itself. Now if I could just stop sweating. Goodbye WindowBlinds!

2 hours. I made my first post out of desperation after fiddling for over an hour. Second post after getting into the bluescreen fun, last when the final few reboots cleared it up.

Sorry if I confused you.

A bluescreen usually indicates a driver problem.

I agree with neil in his post as wb is not loaded when booting to safe mode only minimal system requirements are loaded ,also i just googled for your error it seems it may be due to a bios setting from a bios update or a overclocked machine ???
The only time i could'nt boot xp was when i engaged logon studio but all i got was the black bios screen and fixed it by going into safe mode and deactivating it and restarting and all was good other than that wb5 is fine apart from the fact it shows my graphics card to be less than desirable (mines a intergrated 32mb AGP , it's suprising it can run wb5 at all while i've got desktop Aquarium running and doing all sorts at the same time )

Hmm, I didn't know WB was so intergrated that it could swipe your GUI alltogether.

i hav had WB on my comp for many years and hav never heard of such integration and damage from it of that sort...maybe something caused WB to do that like a trojan or something, i know some people who hav made some especially for WB!!
