1922840593 population

after conquering a Drengin World with a custom race (United Federation, used one of the new logo! , the conquered world had a HUGE population, too huge to be even possible, with 100% approval rating, and all.. (and counting 75000 bcs of taxes)..

I only cheated once in this game, and it was ages ago, for a +10 000 bc, so I don't think it the bug's reason.

The next week, the planet *only* had 17billions of population (knowing that only 400 millions survived my invasion. that's pretty weird), because the planet only had 17 food. What happened? The game hasn't crashed, but it's kinda weird

I would like to mention that this also happened to me in the 9th (10th?) Campaign mission, and it was also in after the invasion of a Drengin planet.

I also had a massive die off (so I didn't get the Trillion BC I would have gotten in tax revenue).
But, having a full planet (with the corresponding taxes) was quite nice.

I think it happens a lot when you use information warfare to invade a planet, but I've seen it happen a few other ways as well. The current theory is that the people that swap sides don't get added to your population when you gain control of the planet, they get removed from the planet's population but they aren't added back. So when you have an invasion force that is less than the information warfare traitors, you end up with a population that's below zero which causes the value holding the population to wrap around to some obscenely high population.
