Fundementalism, Hive Dynamic?

I don't know if this was suggested before, but I would like to see more political parties to choose from/appease, as well as new government options. One, the religeous types would be fun to put in, and can be made in an abstract way as to not offend anyone. (Though we'll mostly be dealing with abstract, alien religeons.) And being able to choose this party would be interesting. To have an alien empire run by clerics with starships, like many sci-fi shows, movies, and videogames we've seen before (Halo's Covenant, Stargate's Goa'Uld, on a lesser model, Galactica's Cylons.) I would love to be able to choose a party that upped my loyalty and increased my courage but let my research go into the gutter. It'd be fun to convert the space heathens...INTO RADIOACTIVE DUST. Secondly...what about a hive-mind type dynamic form of government. One that allows someone to make a monolithic, facelss race with insect or robotic drones of some sort. Food for thought, though I definately want to see more possible parties to appease, and choose from. I hope someone reads this...

Just to add to it, I wanted to say the loyalty and bravery bonuses would be both because your people beleive in a higher power, and because they beleive that the government is connected to or representant of it. Soldiers who beleive in life after death aren't going to be as stingy with their lives, or as eager to betray their species.

Galciv 2 is extensivly moddable, The hardest part is getting the right piciture.

Again, Use your imagination, Racial bonuses could mean anything..

Like take the Pop Growth bonus, It could either mean your people have little self control or are masters of cloning, Its all up to you..

As for the Soldiering bonus? Imagine that they are very relegious, It will work out for you that way!

Yeah. I gave my Yor bonuses in military and social production AND gave them industrialist. I chalked it up to the fact that they were created and this particular sect/caste/whatever of Yor were once the worker bees and have now taken control for themselves. Muhaw.

Actually, I just came up with that. I really just enjoy kicking ass.
