Can't you edit the post and move it yourself?

It looks like it is in the modding section to me. The forum automatically dumps all posts in GalCivII forums in a feature known as 'fubar the hell out of the GalCivII forums and make them useless'. They also keep a copy in their original forum.

You know what is fracking freaky about that story!!!! I wrote something incredibly similar to it just a few years back, and I've never heard of this guy till now.

In the latest version of the story the hero is given immortality and power by the first sentient being in the galaxy called the Creator. Sould awfully similar to Perry getting his long life from the IT. YIKES! I would be verging on copyright infringment without even knowing it. Guess I'll have to diversify my story a bit more. Oh and my hero in my story also uses advanced alien technology to unit the world under a single banner after a near miss with WW3.

This is freakily wierd.

Imporator can you possibly give me a link to where I can read the first book of this Perry Rhodan series please, you got me curious now, oh and in english as well since my german is, well, I know no german.

I did exactly as the readme told (changed the xml, copied the files), but the new hull won't show up i a new game after gettin the tech requirement. Can you help?

BTW, i'd really like to support you with the mod. I've been always dreaming about a great Sci-Fi-Strategy game of Perry Rhodan (played "Operation Eastside" a few years ago), but my personal modding skills (HW2, MOO3) are to low. Maybe we can get in contact. I could do a homepage, spreadsheets or something.

Yes i think i can.
you have to name the .x file for example "s0_cruiser.x" but in the GC2Types.xml you have to mae it "cruiser" and then it is available under structures (Sorry my mistake).

With that ship list it seems you go for the "Big Legendary Ones" first. Don't you like to create a total conversion for one cycle first? A full scale of terran ships from 2400-2406 (Meister der Insel) ranging from 30m to 2500m would be great incl. Moskitos etc... OLD MAN - 200 km! - would crush a hole galaxy of GalCiv2 standard ships (until the Dolans arrive )

Yes that would be a good idea, but i have already begun with modelling that.

I think for the first i try to make a campaign from the beginning (Perry Rhodan find Arkonides on the Moon and lead Humanity to the Stars...). Something like that.

I finished the Sol and the Basis, i hope the approval of the Metaverse will not take to long time

Yeah I have all the English translated american books and just in the last couple of months started re-reading them. I also aquired the last couple that I was missing including the subscribe only ones at the end. Of my set I have a handfull of special ones that Forry and Wendayne autographed.

Have you been reading the German books? How have you been keeping up with the newer ships?

Okay, I installed as instructed in the readme file. I allowed modding, I started a new game. Could someone please tell me where and when do the ships show up?
