Game recording and replaying

While there are still a whole lot of functions that I don't know about in GalCiv II, I have yet to run across any way to record your gameplay, in the same vein as WarCraft III and Starcraft, just to mention a couple. Personally, I would find it very handy to be able to record my own games for even more in-depth post-mortem analysis, as well as view other, more experienced players' games to learn new strategies.

Let me know if this is already included in GalCiv, but otherwise I think it might be an idea worth looking into.

Also, as a Stardock customer of many years, I can't tell you how pleased I am that "my" company has made such a world class game! Thanks to everyone for your diligence.

Excellent idea, it'd be really handy to be able to playback other people's games I think, especially if you're a beginner

Might be issues with making sure that people recording & replaying had the same mods, custom ships, etc. installed.

I agree that it would be a very well recieved game feature...

It did wonders for the Warhammer 40k community to share tactics...
