Saving and Restoring Icon Positions

I have noticed that IconX keeps it's own record of Icon positions seperate from the standard Windows ones. This means that most programs which save and restore icon positions do not work.

Is there a way to save and restore icon positions with IconX?

WoW. No replies. Could it be that they left out something so fundamental as being able to save and restore the desktop icon positions? No program I've tried yet works with it which leads me to believe they keep their own settings seperate from the Windows Icon Settings.

the same problems keeps me from using the iconx, i change resolutions often and it took me long time before i found a solution which works for me... its called iconoid and of course doesn't work with iconx...
