Rotate camera

Hi all. I need help. I've been enjoying this game lots, but for some reason i can't rotate the camera on the main map with the middle mouse button. I keep seeing this done in the tutorials and other videos. There are no options to turn it on or off, and my middle mouse button scrolls(zooms) fine, just no rotation.

Can anyone help?

You are PRESSING the middle button (scroll wheel) and dragging, correct?

yes, i am holding the middle mouse button, and dragging, but nothing happens. It zooms fine when using the scroll wheel, but why doesn't it rotate when i keep it pressed?

I have solved the problem. Thanks for your help. Apparently, my middle mouse button was not set up as a 'middle mouse button' in windows. It works fine now.

What do you use the other two buttons for? Seems like overkill to me.
