BUG - CRASHES UPON LOADING A GAME (ANY TYPE OF GAME - SAVED, NEW, ETC.)

ok when i first clicked the galciv2 shortcut right after installing, it said i don't have directx 9.0c, which i actually DO have (and this was confrimed when i went to the microsoft site to download the driver and it said i already have it
so i'm making a game, u kno, selecting galaxy type, civ, etc., and i hit "next" and the loading game screen pops up w/ one of those hints for the game - about 2 seconds into loading, it crashes to a blue screen saying "windows has shut down" and then a whole bunch of stuff and then near the bottom it says, and i quote:

"STOP: )x0000008E (0xc0000005, OxBFAA94DA, 0xF775CB1C, 0x00000000)

ati3d2ag.dll - Address BFAA94DA base at BFA4500"

now i dont kno what the heck all of that means, but in any case, my computer meets the system requirements, and i did download and install the patch and it's still the same thing happening

I have this same problem... I cannot Find new drivers for the ATI mobillity card. I have a toshiba laptop, Boutght it last year and I have the Mobillity Radeon 9000. Toshiba has no updates, and ATI offers no updates.. I blue screen out upon starting the game. If anyone know a place to find these drivers that would be great. But I do not think they are out.

On a side note I can run any game out there. I have no problems with World Of Warcraft or Civ4, even at the highest graphics settings..

Try Omega drivers.
