Hot Seat?

I don't know if its posted any where, but I was wondering if GalCiv2 has any hot seat option. (2 or more players playing a mulitplayer game on one computer). I was just wondering. (Mainly because I do not own the game yet and wondering if I should get something else instead).

There is a way. It has been posted before. It deals with enabeling cheats. Maybe some one else can point you to the thread.

I believe you need to add the cheats option, and then when in-game you need to select a ship of the species to switch control to and then hit
