FUTURE SUGGESTIONS

Cause it's never too early

The game has been increadible so far and i'm really enjoying it! But i would like to make a few suggestions for future updates/expansions and i want to hear opinions. Here they go:

1) A hall of fame, much like in CIV, would be very much appreciated. I'm not sure how the Metaverse works but it certainly isn't the same.

2) It would be nice if we could somehow exploit planets that cannot be colonised in different ways. We could send sattelites in orbit of those planets to collect data that could be usefull in research and/or send robots to the surface of them to explore that could also be usefull in research or something else. I haven't given it very much thought to be honest but you get the idea.

3) There could be some Nebulas on the galactic map that could have properties like blocading radar signals so that ships could hide in them. This could provide interesting surprise attacks. Of course later on there could be a tech that would allow us to built special sensors to see through them.

4) Since many are requesting planetary defence systems i would suggest that we could build orbital combat space stations to defend the planet and not having to relly on ships.

5) Last but not at all least, the Terror Star!
Just bring it back! Plenty of ways to balance it, very fun using it so why not? It goes without saying that it should also be used as a diplomatic tool as well. It would be rediculous if i had, for example, a TS parked right outside a race's capital and they refuse to make piece on some reasonable conditions. Races with no such weapons should respect and fear the ones that have them and consider them militarily stronger than usual. TS could be used as a mean of pressure. Much like nuclear weapons in the real world (not like in civ, cause those sucked). It could need some work to put them in the right way, so nobody complains, but it would be awesome!

Tell me what you think about those and if you have any suggestions of your own, post 'em here!
And i would really like the devs to participate, to tell us what's on their mind for the near future.

I agree on the fact that some of the class 0 should be usuable. For example a giant gaz planet could be used to extract energy from it, I would even go one step further and put anti-matter in the game. This would make a great weapon or energy source but to get it you will need a special starbase on close orbit to a sun (a yelow one of course) and it's a risky buisness and it would be illegal to do that. All this ca be found in the night dawn trilogy by Peter Hamilton. I'm surprised the dev didn't think about it since gal civ1.
The orbital defenses is a good idea as weel. A easier way to implement it is maybe to build some ships to a military starbase and those ships will then intercept menace within the range of the starbase.

BlizzardGR what would be better is a different system to manage planetary invasions. There is really no hope to resist a planetary invasion with 1/10 of defending troops with worst tech and soldiering. As i said in other threads apout planetary invasions soldiering as it is now is totally a nosense; if in future patches as said population will be linked to production the unbalancement in planetary invasions can become a lot greater

Apart from improving diplomatic options and espionage, adding a hall of fame and bringing back the terror star are mt biggest requests. Many other things can also be improved. Just say what's on yoúr mind!

Probably there will be a terror planet not more a terror star considering new gameplay. So i'm sure if we will ever see the terror star come back it will be a lot different

I think that a dev had said that if they brought the terror star back it would still have the ability to destroy stars. I'm not ot sure though
