Siege Campaign Help

Okay first off the Dread Lords = ownage... sheer utter unrelenting ownage. 10 of their troops land on my planet with 8000 of mine. A movie title would be suitable here... I think the title would be GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS.

ANYWAY I'm finding it nigh impossible to build up a force that can damage the dread lords let alone get past the blockade in the middle to reach that drengin planet I'm supposed capture. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Because by the time I get the support techs to reach that planet the dread lords are blowing up everything in sight.

I almost found I had to try to stay on good terms with the other races(besides Dregin), build starbases that let me reach to the top left and take the planet from the Drengin. Have to do this quickly, or the Dreadlords will just run you and everyone else over....but the Drengin usually go first.

Problem is they keep attacking the center sector... where the Arceans and Altarians are at... which is also between me and the Drengin.

Aye i about to quit the bloody campiagn for good. Considering its the 3rd or 4th mission is incredibly frustrating. I think i have tried about 14 times to beat it. Guess ill never see the rest of the missions :s

Give up and you'll get easier mission


Are you actually suggesting that it would be best to not try to win this mission? I saw somewhere that the campaign was non-linear, but I think it would be pretty damned sadistic to make a mission that was impossible to beat, just to prove that the campaign had multiple paths.
