Core Ship or pre build ships

hi I wanted to know, is it possible to input new prebuild or predesign ship into the game so that those of us who, finds designing ship a little bit of a chore and simply just have a bigger selection?

or is there enough core ships that this doesnt matter?

im playing campaign right now so the selection is really limited.
