Minor race AI problem

I'm having an issue with minor races with the latest patch, in that whenever I start creating transports and have them in my space (usally across the entire galaxy), they will immediately declare war, stating that I have military units parked around their system. I'm playing in a medium galaxy, at Genius level intelligence for all races, and my transports are parked near my homeworld. The minor races (this has happened twice now) are at the opposite side of the galaxy in other civ's sphere of influence. There are no military units of mine even close.

I have had the same problem actually, I think it was the snathi for me.

Me too. It was annoying, because I didn't even know where they were. I was on a gigantic map, and they were out of my range. It only seems to happen with the minor races, although the Korx have done it once with me too.

Can't really blame them.. they're twitchy. They know they sit on the best planets and can be easily wiped out...

Heh seriously I've seen that a few times too, they tend to be twitchier then computer opponents.
