Trading technology

HI, since I'm a noob at GalCiv II I'm a little unsure about trading technology. Its pretty easy to see if the "person" you are trading with likes the deal i.e. the text turns red if they don't want trade the technology or your not paying enough. But when the AI is the initiator of the trade? I mean, I'm no familiar enough with the trade chart and have no idea if they are pulling my leg or the like. Can I see this somewhere ? I don't think I can open the techtree from the trading screen so I'm pretty lost.

Unfortunately, you have to just learn what is a good deal and what isn't.

Hey devs, is there a chance that you could implement something like what is done in Civ4. Lists the cost (in beakers) of the tech so you can just compare teh cost and see if it is worth it. So maybe you could put in some....numerical figure per text and allow us to compare them during trading.

Just a wish list Item. Maybe expansion feature or something.

That doesn't sound like much fun. Why not just include the tech cost in the right-click information for the technology on the diplomacy screen? All the current implementation of this is doing is making me alt-tab to the Galactopedia and look up each tech and alt-tab back. That's not very convenient.
