This game really need...

... a real time clock somewhere in the UI. Time just flies away.

A job well done.

A timer is on our list for an update And thanks for the feedback!

is there any chance that you guys would post the list for update so we would know what's going to be fixed and changed?

That way it might be less likely for people to post the same issue over and over.

Tomorrow we're going to compose the final list and post it for you guys...it's pretty long now, and has to be prioritized.

This specific item will probably make it into 3-4 updates from now...there are bigger bugs to fry ATM.

Time sure does fly. I sat down this morning to play for about 45 hours, and spent the next 4 hours playing before it occurred to me to check the clock.

I once played a game called Stronghold, set in the days of Knights of old. I remember that when it got to midnight or there abouts a sound file was played telling me "It's getting a little late sire." It was a nice touch to that game and it would be nice to have something similar added to GC2.

Gah! 3-4 updates! Tell me those are 3-4 hours inbetween?

Maybe you don't realize, we guys who need this feature...we have spouses. You've put us sleeping out on the couch with the pets by releasing this game...3-4 updates leaving the games late and I think our spouses will have us sleeping out in the garage (those of us who have garages).

You're killing me here man.

In all seriousness, bugs before features, I get that.

Anyway, wanted to add to the 'timer' thing an 'alarm' thing. "Quit playing at 2130 hours." Really needs to be a front-page feature requirement for immersive games like these.

Easy now , since I'm in software developing with customers in the other end, I know that you have to prioritize all the "what goes when". I'm looking forward to see what you have in store for us. My wish is a really minor!

Not that i ever played it, thanks to the CD protection that protected it from even being installed on my computer...
Did i mention how much i love Stardock's philosophy on the subjecT?
