Possible new bug in Upgrading ships

When upgrading a prior ship design I had a problem with being unable to remove items from my design to make room for new items. When I clicked on the item in the ribbon and selected remove, the item would not be removed. I could go into the design and select the item (in this case an engine) and could remove it from the design, but the engine icon would stay in the ribbon.

The end result was that I aborted the design modifications and created a new design from scratch. Only tried this once in my game and have not tried it since. However I did think it might be something you might want to look at.

Hmm, can you send a saved game where this is reproducable (to gc2bugs@stardock.com) and we'll try to fix it   Thanks nitey!

I've had that one too - as soon as you add one item you can freely delete anything on the ship, so I just add one big and blatant thing that is easily removed and voila, it works.

I had a problem where I upgrade an existing design, when no ships are currently made of that design, and the game prompted me to upgrade the non-existant ships.

I've also had a weird bug that changes each game, where certain random (no more than 2 per ship, and only on occaision) hardpoints are rotated wacky. For instance the Terran Freighter, the longer one, on the back vertical tail and looking at the back it's the middle point on the left hand side. I don't have a pic at the moment, what is the hotkey?, and I don't have any more time to play today.

The oddest thing is in the same game, no reverts or loads, I made an "advanced troop carrier" with the same chassis ... and the problem hardpoint was fine. Bizzare, no? I've had a total of maybe 3-4 goofy hardpoints total thus far.
