The link posted in this threed to get the Collector Edition stuff doesn't work using Opera Browser. I get ever New Registration Form. No problem with IE.

Problem here.. I registered the CE and downloaded the necessary files. I even got the theme. I also updated my serial via the shortcut GalCiv Launcher. But when I run the game, I don't see any of the new hulls. Any help is greatly appriciated.

The jewelry that you get in the CE extras in the "extras" tab.  I don't believe that it includes any new hulls.

Sorry if this has been mentioned previously, but I can't find it.

I pre-ordered the game months ago during the betat testing, got my final download the other day when the was opened upon on Total Gaming Net. So my question is, are the Bonuspack and Collector's editions separate downloads, or was that already included in what I got. Thanks, and again, apologies if this has been explained elsewhere or before.

Alright, I preoredered a long time ago, like last year. I am able to download and play the game, but when I try to get the CE, it won't let me in. I have tried all of the strategies above, and no luck. Even more strange, when I ask for my serial number, it comes up with a different number in every e-mail that they send me! So I have like 5 different number that have come from 5 e-mail attempts to look up my serial #! None of them work for the CE. Any ideas?

Oh, mixxed it up with the bonus. How many hulls should there be.. I got 3 hulls for each size.. is that about right? Is there a list somewhere of the Collector's Edition bonus?

The reason you have 5 different serials is because our system generates a new serial for each request.  However they are all tied to the same registration so any of them should work.  As far as those serials not working...I checked your account and you do not have a GCII registration.  So I suspect that you purchased GCII under a different account.  If that is the case then you will need to logon with that account in order to get the Collectors Edition downloads.

Yes, the Bonuspack and the GCII Desktop (both are part of the CE) are separate downloads.   Visit https://www.galciv2.com/collectorsedition/ to download.

This may be a dumb question but my pre order with EB Games is taking forever and a day and would like to cancel and just get it shipped to me via the site but I dont want to lose out on the CE stuff from the pre-order. If I order now online would I still be able to get it?

Depressing....you would think I could do a thing as simple as registering my product with a serial number.

I've tried to do what is stated above but I still am unable to download the extras. I get error 3 and 12 on the registration screen no matter what order I put my numbers. I can play GalCiv2 but I don't think I have the goodies

I have more than one serial number as well since I had it emailed to me a couple times. I did preorder and I have all my emails to prove it, complete with order numbers and serial numbers etc.

Help anyone?

Ok, that is very odd. I don't have another account, in fact I just spent the last 30 min looking at the sales ticket recieved from Stardock for my purchase of Gal Civ 2, and looking at the Gal Civ 2 serial number on my e-mail that puts it under the same account that I have Gal Civ 1, Gal Civ: Altarian and the Political Machine (what can I say, I am a Stardock junkie). I have tried every serial number sent, do I'm not sure what else to do. Is there any way I can get Gal Civ 2 registered to my account (or find out if it is registered to another account)? I can play the game fine, but the CE would be icing on the cake.

Please, I'm dying here!

Ok, so i downloaded the first big file 80 mb or so..installed that then i went to the 2nd link and it said "registry changed to enable special content you must have updated via stardock central" so does this mean i have it? i NEVER had to enter a serial number.

I've now had 4 different SNs and none will let me download the collectors goodies. Same errors as Ubbax. Any suggestions?
Edit: Perhaps I've made it worse in trying to make a 2nd account: Darkrenown2. No validation email has been sent but this is the account that shows up when my SN is emailed to me.

I cannot get to the CE stuff either. I'm very positive my account is the right one as I only have one account. Still when I try to register it tells me that the serial number doesn't belong to this account.

Never mind, when installing SDC on a 2nd pc it said my account was not active and send a validation email. That activated this account and let me download.

Just an update - I realized that I had set up my Stardock.net account using a different email address than the one I used for the Pre-order. I have since updated my email address on my .net account so that they now match.

Unfortunately I am still unable to register and get the CE stuff.

Using any of the serial numbers emailed to me I get (depending on which box I enter):

Error 3: Serial Number Is Not Registered To This Account
Error 12: Invalid Collectors Edition Serial Number

At this point I don't know what to do, it's like my account will email me a serial number but that number is not registered to the account.

Where did you find what email address you used to order GalCiv2? I have a copy of the email that seems to indicate I am using the right account, but who knows! I'm very depressed about the fact that it doesn't seem to recognize my registering of the product!

If it's the validation code for the serial numbers you corrected then I suppose I better check my programming as I'm still bugged and in more ways than one

I am getting the "Error 3: Serial Number Is Not Registered To This Account" problem.

I believe I pre-ordered from totalgaming.net with a different email address than I used to create my Stardock Central account and I believe that is causing the problem. Is there a way to get my serial number moved over to my stardock central account so I can download the CE content?

I should note that inside Stardock Central, I was able to tell it the email addy I bought the game with and so it can find it and I can download patches no problem.

Hey, I couldn't afford to pre-order the game. Is there any way for me to get the special edition anyway? A slightly more expensive purchase? Anything? Also, I'm in Australia, so if I pre-order it from a local store here, before it reaches Aus, can I get the special edition that way? Sure, it's already available in America, but technically, I'm still getting it before release down here. Please....?

I signed up with stardock initially using a hotmail account. Later on I made my pre-order using my isp email. I know this because I have the reply emails from my order.

Additionally, when I use Stardock Central/ Tools/ Look up Serial Number and try both of the emails involved only one of them comes back with a serial number and that is my isp account.

I was wondering the same thing as I just realized (reading this thread) that I still miss the bonus pack and the CE stuff. I just assumed it was already installed as I had every SDC option for GalCiv2 downloaded.

So, I'm wondering why the Bonus Pack and the CE stuff doesn't show up in SDC????
