All I really wanted was more themes to choose from.

Hundreds of dollars and megabytes and icons later, I am still in total
confusion.

Most of these icons and duplicated many times in other folders, and most only
take me to a website that asks me to purchase and download the program again.

Was I suckered into something here, or is it just impossible to simply get more
themes?

I had found an icon that took me to a live chat group at one point, and got some
helpful information. But, which icon was that? It is lost in a pile of
directories and duplicated icons now, I guess.

You haven't been 'suckered'. You need to create an account at Wincustomize.com, and make sure the site recognizes you as as a Stardock customer. (Either use the same email address you used to purchase the products, or cross references the email accounts) You'll then have access to lots of themes, skins, and etc......

The most you should have spent was $49.95 for Object Desktop. That includes almost everything you need. A Wincustomize subscription ( optional ) is $20. Thats the most you should have spent.

Fairyy~ .... don't forget ObjectDockPlus $20 ($15 for ODNT subscribers), and CursorXP Plus $10, but that hardly comes to hundreds.

Are you talking about the HTML links/icons in the folders for the Object Desktop apps. If so yes they will take you to whatever Stardock page they are for.
