Selected Items color

Hey guys, in the windows appearance screen I've chosen the "selected items" and altered the color I want it to be. However each time windows reboots the color is set back to the original or the one of the skin. Is there a way to set this permanently?

All color settings are reset each time the skin is loaded. The skin(s) need to be edited to make the change permanent.
