I am missing a kind of "Quick Start" to all mainstream products here. Maybe I have overlooked these. Please help.

Stardock Central is a decent quickstart.
If you have DX, the Object Desktop launchpad is kinda nice (too big and not customizable IMO).
I use ObjectDock+ and have a folder with all the ODNT, Thinkdesk, and Misc. Stardock products that works very well.

walt walt, are you using winxp? right click on your taskbar, go to Toolbars >> Quick Launch

is that what you were looking for? you can right click on the quick launch tool bar and Open Folder, and then drag shortcuts of your programs in there.

If you dont have a quick launch, Stardock's Object Desktop has programs like Launchpad, Objectdock, and right click. Object Dock also has a free version.

Uff, WoW, sorry. I didn't make me clear. I was looking for a "Short Description", "Quick user guide" kind of stuff I read in bed and work on it next morning. Many thanks for your quick answer. cheers, see you.

look in the various folders there's usually one in there.


If you go to each programs home page, you can usually find documentation and faqs on the left.

or hopefully, some one will post some links to Cordelia's and Corky O's tutorials...they are most helpful for getting started.


you can search for tham at WinCustomize...I can't at the moment...WC is employer firewalled blocked
