Backup for Download Only Customers

I just purchased Galciv2, download only version today. At work bandwidth is not an issue, but at home all I have is a dial-up. Several times a year for various reasons I need to reload/format my system and therefore reload all my applications. For Galciv2 how do we create a backup for reloading, without having to download everything again. Can we copy the existing directory structure to a CD and restore from that? Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that you can archive the game and then burn the archive to a disk

You use StarDock Central to archive your game. Just launch SDC, go to the GalCiv 2 menu and right click on it. There should be an option to create an archive. After that all you need to do is locate the archive files and burn those to CD or DVD.

I did that recently when downloading the pre-load files and everything worked smoothly. Let us know if you need further help.
