WindowBlinds constantly need restart!

I get "This machine MUST be rebooted after installing this version of WB5"

In stalled windowblinds 5 public, when the install finishes it asks me to restart, once i have restarted i get the message again telling me i need to restart.

I tried in stalling Windowblinds 5 enhanced, that works fine, but of course it needs to be registered before use.

I'v tried uninstalling it, removing all registry entries, etc. but still didnt work, i also tried system restore but didnt do anything.

Anyone got any idead?

cheers

This means an app has removed some WB registry entries

Try reinstalling WB.  Also watch out for certain anti spyware apps which sometimes delete registry keys without telling the user.

I was going to buy the product, but I keep having the same problem . Keeps saying I need to reboot, when I try to open it up to run. I turned off pccillian suite and still can not get it to load.

I have exactly the same problem. Have completely removed and re-installed. Just get that pesky reboot prompt whenever I try and start it.

Hello,

I'm a registered user of Object Desktop. I used Stardock Central to install WB 5.5 on Vista Business. I'm getting the same "need to reboot" error message. I've never had any trial versions of WB on this computer. I have UAC (User Account Control) disabled, and did when I first installed WB.
