They worked yesterday...Help.

I downloaded and put some items from DesktopX Objects Items for the first time yesterday, and they were working fine. When I started my computer today none of them are working. If I place my curser over them to use them to open something I see the hourglass. I cannot even right click on them and delete them. I also installed a clock and weather info. window that are not working.

I have also put some Widgets on my desktop. They all work fine, but the items I put on the desktop from Desktop Gadgets do not come up where I placed them when I restart my computer.

If anyone has an idea why I am having these problems and can tell me what to do to fix them you would make my day.

I paid. The items I am having the problems with that are not working I downloaded from Gallery DesktopX Objects Items. I put them on my desktop and when I restarted they did not work.

I figured out that the problem with the DesktopX objects not working was a firewall problem and fixed it.

I would still like to know why the Desktop Gadgets do not come up in the place I have put them when I restart. Also any changes I have made to them, like color and size is lost.

Any ideas why?

Have you tried doing a 'save desktop as' after placement and coloring?

I believe that is an issue withteh DX framework that is at issue. I further believe that it's on teh list of things to fix.
