How is GUI Olympics pronounced?

Ok, after watching SDTV_GUIO_Week1.wmv, I have a question. How is GUI Olympics pronounced?
I always thought it would be pronounced Gooey Olympics. However, in the video I hear it pronounced: gee-you-eye Olympics.

By the way, there are some really nice skins over there... Congrats to the winners of the first contest.
Good luck to the entrants of the rest of the competition.

It depends on who I'm talking to. Most of the time I pronounce it "gooey", but when explaining it to my mother, for example, it's "G. U. I."

I'm guessing Frogboy is probably the same way, targeting the video at a general audience. I also noticed he pronounce Kewk-HoE as "Kewk H. O. E."

Gooey, eey-rag, and one of my colleagues here (a biologist) says "beet-ah" (she''s English) - also says "cap-ILL-ary" instead of "CAP-ill-ary"

That's a respectable form of transportation here. Put a wife in front of it (wife-beater) and I'm dressed for taking the missus to the KFC for fine dining

Good one, Essencay! Lots of people in this neck of the woods drive a "wintah beetah" between December and April.

it's GUI and Gooey.  It's GUI because it stands for Graphical User Interface and Gooey just because it's fun to say.

OK... who's voice is that on the video anyway????

Sounds so professional... except for that GUI thing...

I tend to forget localized dialect doesn't always play well
