CFX: How to install new theme?

This is such a n00bish question, but I'm not familiar with CFX. I can't seem to figure out how/where to load a theme I've downloaded. I see the New Package button at the bottom, but that opens the editor to make a new cursor. I just want to browse to install one from my hard drive. Am I missing something? 8|

bebi, you just have to choose 'open' in the download window. Perhaps I should ask which browser you're using?

But that's the thing....I don't want it to open with the program. I want to be able to save it on my harddrive (for backup purposes) and then browse to the theme to install it (like with CXP). Oh how I miss the simplicity of CXP.... :'(

OK..sorry I was dense. Why can't you save it in say, Downloads>OD>CFX?

If you mean browse to it in from within the CFX control panel,I don't see that option on CFX Plus.   Odd I never noticed it until you mentioned it.;P

Browsing to the themes saved location in explorer and double-clicking it  appears to be the only way to install one.

I understand what you mean. You want to use 'file > save as', select your backup drive etc, then browse to there from CFX.

That's what I'd do, except the CFX control panel doesn't have a browse or install function. What an odd omission >:(

Right click on download button, save to your chosen location.

Double click the saved file and the cursor will install to CFX.

OK come on Stardock...something as simple as installing a theme is missing in CFX, but yet was present in CXP? That sounds like a step backwards. I shouldn't have to move something into a folder in order for a theme to be installed (like with OD, which seriously needs to be fixed). Should be an "add new theme" button like with WB, that works just fine.

I really wish I could go back to CXP, it just worked flawlessy, but I have a feeling it won't work on 7 x64.  X|
