I Just Want To Know: Whats Included With Object Desktop?

I Just Want To Know: Whats Included With Object Desktop? Stardocks "PRODUCTS" Page states that OBJECT DESKTOP is "Stardocks Full Suite Of Enhancement Utilities." A full suite to me means a full suite, however the product page for ODNT only lists the following Winblinds, Deskscapes, Fences Pro, Icon Packager, Tweak 7, Theme Manager, Desktop X and more. Click the link for more info and you are presented with the same list but additionally it includes Skin Studio, Window FX, Icon Developer, Keyboard Launch Pad, and "more." What is more? I wrote to support but they told me to see the ODNT more info page. To add more confussion to the issue the PDF for product specs lists an additional program called "Logon Studio." No info is availible anywhere on the site about Logon Studio or Right Click. Not confussing enough? Check the product page for Boot Skin and it states that its included with ODNT as well, though this is not stated anywhere else on the site. Computer shopper says they got 18 products when they bought ODNT but they never listed which ones where included. Going back to my original commment about Stardock claiming ODNT is a full suite shouldnt that include, Cursor FX, My Colors, Object Bar, Object Dock, Right Click, Multiplicity, and Keep Safe?

I really want to purchase Object Desktop, but Im worried that if Stardock cant get their sales info together how good can they be at creating or supporting their products.

So can anyone tell me what is included or not included with Object Desktop?

With the Stardock website, exploring is informative, and can be fun

Support is just great. It runs 9-5, Mon-Fri. I've never had a problem they didn't work hard to help with. I'm not going to say the software works with everything out there. Nothing does.

If you decide to buy, please drop me a note, and I'll try and walk you through it. You'll need "Impulse". That's Stardock's download and update app along with many other functions.

Thanks for your attempt to answer my question. That list added to but still did not show all the programs included but it did add sound package to the list which was not shown as included anywhere else on the site.
Your reply is exactly what I was refering to about no valid answers from support. I appriciate your assistance in demonstrating my fustration. I had checked your provided link when I wrote the following in my original posting... "Click the link for more info and you are presented with the same list but additionally it includes Skin Studio, Window FX, Icon Developer, Keyboard Launch Pad, and "more." What is more?" The page you recommneded is still not an all enclussive list. We now know that the following are listed else where on the site as included but are not a part of the page you sent me to, BootSkin, LogonStudio, and Sound Packager.
I am looking for one complete, all enclussive, defenitive, all encompassing, list. Can anyone tell me what came with the software when they bought it?

Unfortunate that isn't going to help you either.  It is governed by what is currently active and supported programs.  For instance I have an Object Desktop subscription going back to 2004.  I will have some programs listed in Object Desktop that someone subscribing today won't get.

Stardock also has some stand alone programs that will not be part of the Object Desktop Suite, Object Dock being one of them.

I'm just a user of the software not a rep from Stardock.  :sun:

^ Correct, but I believe you're looking for all the right answers...but in the wrong place. Now that I understand better what you're trying to find out, I recommend you send an email to:  sales@stardock.com  and ask exactly the same questions.

Also, please include the url of this post so they can see how the topic developed. I'd also like to tell you that there are "deals" at times, and that the really best way to find about them is to contact sales by email or to call Phone: 734-927-0677. They work 9-5, M-F.

I have walked that path of as well of contacting sales support. Unfortunatly they did the same URL as support, and you did. I will try it again, perhaps having this forum thread will support the cause in some way.
I do agree with you that "the Stardock website, exploring is informative, and can be fun," however when it is not informative it is more fustrating than anything. I have tried on and off for 2 years to get an answer to this before I finally gave up and joined the foums.
Im really not trying to be a pain, I just want to know exactly what I can expect to get for my money. And, if neccessary how much extra will I need to spend if an item or 2 that I want is not included.
I will try your suggestion and will report back on how well it did or did not work.

Include your OS info and whether x32 or x64 as that will also determine what will work for you.

All the applications listed on this page is what you get:  https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/information.asp

The "more" is typically including anything new that hasn't been released yet.

Apps that don't come with ODNT are CursorFX and ObjectDock Plus.  However, ODNT subscribers do get a discount.

I agree with 47ado_SS. I just bought ObjectDesktop suite under the impress that it contains everything. It just came as a shock to me that ObjectDock is not included and that's how I landed up on this thread.

The sales department is horrible as they took 3 days to answer my sales query and I am sure that's the confusion that reflects on their site as well.

ObjectDesktop is an amazing bargain for the price you pay; you get a huge pile of programs that bought individually would cost a great deal of money. I bought it and ObjectDock as well several years ago and haven't the slightest regret.

Welcome to the world of skinning, and be sure to click the "Explore" button at the top of the page to find all the great artwork in the various categories.

All of the questions in the OP have been answered. If there are complaints, they stem from not understanding, for whatever reason, what is clearly written on SD's site. That is a different matter and should be addressed separately with sales.
