Destiny's Embers Content ETA?

Prior to the release of 1.08 there was some comment by Frogboy that the first installment of the "extra content" for those that had purchased the book would be available.     I purchased the book and entered the code some time ago.    However, I don't see any extra content that came out at the same time as 1.08.

Do we have a revised ETA for the first installment of that content?

Hmmmm since the some of the DE characters lack magic due to canon, they should have added a few special abilities. I'm modding Nym to have a few creature abilities like furious strike. There are several abilites that these characters could have got to make them more useful and maintain canon. I'm not complaining though O:) , thanks Stardock & Random house, you rock!

... just had a thought, i suppose the characters have set abilities because they are going to be used in the forth coming campaign... Maybe i should copy Nym's file and mod the copy so it doesn't cause any complications later.

Why didnt i think of that earlier lol.

 

EDIT: HELP!!!! Can't find where the DE characters are located. Are they hardlocked to prevent sharing?

Stupid question: I have verified that I downloaded the bonus characters from Destiny's Ember under 'My Games' in Impulse (says, "Installed"), but when I go into Elemental to start a new game I do not see any of the new people as character choices for my sovereign... what am I missing, please?

Its not out for those who ordered the book for their E reader/Nook, and I contacted stardock support recently, as in two days ago, and they said the content is not out.

No, I have the physical book.. got it from Amazon a couple, three weeks back.  Checked the Destiny's Ember site and said that DLC char's. were available, so I logged in to Impulse and downloaded, only I cannot find the people anywhere in the game.

So, is Impulse giving incorrect information?

All I know for sure is tha the support told me that the content has not yet been released, and that those who ordered the book for their nooks/kindles did not get a code.(Yet)

Well, I have been playing with some of the new characters in game, so some of the content is out already. The info page has projected dates for the release of the maps and then the 3 campaign chapters.

I haven't actually PLAYED any of the new content, but when I tried loading a new game and had to pick my Sovereign, they were in the list of selectable characters.
