Stardock SideBarPlus? What's this?

Explorer just crashed on me. And then it restarted I found this new icon on my system tray. It's a blue plus sign and the tooltip says "Stardock SideBarPlus".

Right click menu got two items:
* Release All Associations
* Exit

Clicking on it does nothing.

Double clicking opens notepad.

What is this thing?

It appears an internal DesktopX Pro 3.5 beta has lept the wall and made a bid for freedom. That's part of the XGF framework for allowing DesktopX gadgets or .NET apps to be run as part of the Vista sidebar.

I'll just break out the nets and tranqualizer guns and tuck it back for the weekend. Please continue to use the DesktopX 3.2 release instead.

So that's why there was no docs for the new beta features. Well, the exported seemed to work fine.

Should there be further issues like this please start a ticket with us at Support@stardock.com. Since the changes have been taken down we don't expect anything further. However we would like to document anything else that could be occuring.

Thanks much.

Right'o! Will hold off any further reports until the real beta comes out.
I've got a list of my own of things I'll be testing.
