Start 11 V2.11 Right-click Menu on taskbar icons not Showing

Have the latest Start 11, and latest version, Windows 11.  I just reinstalled Win11 for other reasons, but before and after that I have been unable to get the right-click menu on taskbar icons to come up. There used to be a menu but now nothing for the pinned icons.  I do get the right-click menu when on a blank spot on the taskbar and also the start button.  But none of the icons I pinned, or co-pilot have a menu.  I get a right-click menu on any icons on the desktop, just not the taskbar icons, whether their pinned or not.

Is this normal or do I have a setting I missed? Or is this another problem?

Thanks in advance!!

Do you have the taskbar on the top? If so, you need to turn on the Enhanced taskbar for the right-click context menus to work. It’s a Windows thing.

Yes at the top, your right, enhance did enable the right click menu...... but I love the center so I will live with no menu.

I could swear it used to work without the enhance turned on.  I've never used the enhanced setting, but I know I used to have a menu πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Not sure why you are unable to center the Start button and apps.

Heh.... Just noticed my weather widget is gone, even though its enabled in the taskbar settings for Win11.  See zero in Start 11 for widgets.

Is it just me, or are widgets supported with the enhanced taskbar?

Only with the start button on the left.
