Start10 Greyed out

from Stardock Forums

Not sure what's going on so Im going to ask you all. The main window is all greyed out and can't select or change settings. I've tried; uninstall/reinstall, Manually deleting all the left over files after uninstall and disabling my AV before installing. Any ideas? Thanks all|-)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Wait a minute. Are you asking to uninstall first then purge? I am thinking YES

I believe you just need to run the purge.bat file.

Unfortunately the purge did not work. Start10 still is greyed out. See the screenshot HERE

:UPDATE:

I exited averything in my tray. Windowblinds, nVidia experience, iDrive backup, EVGA Precision/Unleash and soundblaster command. Of course, I disabled my AV (kaspersky}:) ) Purged, Installed and rebooted. It worked. Not sure which one was the culprit but I will find out and report back. Just in case somebody will have the same problem.
