ok, we've had the music, cartoons, movies, and tv threads.. let's hear who reads comics, and what they like

i tried a couple copies of xmen again the other day, and was actually pretty disappointed in the art.

Oops - I can't believe I forgot The Red Star! Beautiful work, a lot of it done with computers. Just gorgeous art. And a great story too!

I am a very big comic fan. I have 7 DC Titels and
20 Marvel titels in subscription. I am a big fan
of all the X-men and Avengers titels. I am german,
but i read only the american originals, because
the german titels are about a year behind the
american ones and you don´t get all titels.

wow.. i just read amazing spiderman online.. i guess they re-started the title or something.. i didn't know it stopped, but the last time i read it, it was 330 something, and now it's like issue 38.. [brad.. what's up with that?]
anyway, it was -incredible- awesome art and excellent writing.. very impressed.. plus! the online version is really cool to read.. the panels jump out at you and stuff.. very nice

Migellito, IIRC, Amazing Spider-man is currently being written by JMS (the guy who created the TV series Babylon 5 (and wrote nearly every epsisode of the show). He also has another comic book series called Rising Stars (Top Cow comics I think). So the resulting comic books are, as you would expect, well written.
