WC Subscriber Skin Black Ops

Not sure why you aren't getting the W7 version, ddraney. I have BlackOps and it has all 3 versions. Shelby did a screenie, but I don't think he updated the skin.

Well that's strange. 

I purchased a WC subscription today, and I downloaded the skin from the subscriber skins page with 3 sub-styles as follows- XP, Vista, XP[IE6]. I'm not seeing a win7 version.

Mine says BlackOps, BlackOps (Vista), BlackOps (XP IE6).  The first BlackOps is the win 7 version.  Are you sure yours isn't the same ddraney?

Make sure you put in the url of this thread (should save some explaining). Then save the autoreply for the ticket number (you can add it to the thread), and wait for an actual person to answer before writing again, or your request for help will be kicked to the end of the queue...

I'll make inquiries at my end as well.

strange, i cant find a win7 substyle on mine version and i just downloaded it from stardock

The first one of the three is for Windows 7.

This is why I asked, I don't see this w/ any of the substyles provided.  FYI, This is from shelbythecar's screenshot.

That isn't the case. I have a w7 subby on my version (as do many other people).

2of3, does it say win7 in your list of substyles, or does it just show what appears to be an XP flag? For what it's worth, it's not a huge issue. It just appeared to me that this skin was optimized for win7. I just noticed in shelby's screenshot what appeared to be a full blown update. I can still use it as is.

I asked Mike Bryant who made the skin and he said that he has never updated it, so if it is updated someone else must have done it

Not updated as the first one is for Win7. I have it too.

The rights to Black Ops is owned by Stardock I believe.....they must have updated it without his help.

Looking at it closer, it's not fully skinned for Win7, though......but the Win7 shutdown buttons are skinned.

Geez....it is possible that I may have tweaked my version and forgot? Wouldn't put it past me.

I have to look back, but I don't believe most (if any) of the WC subscriber skins support Win7.
