Wish List Mods and Feature

Wish list for what I like to see a mod or feature added

1. Light Sabre with the swoosh sound when it attacks.

2. Flying Airships like in Final Fantasy VI or Warcraft

3. Pet Dragons/Champions that start with your Sovereign or Faction.

4. Limit the amount of cities Factions can create.  (Hopefuly a feature you can do in game)

5. More Races like Orcs and Gnomes.

6. Non-Apocalypic looking maps.  (Grassland, Desert, Snow, Forest)

7. Ability to build a city in the middle of a forest.

8. Ability to lower the amount of NPC monster spawning within the game.

8(|  I'm still trying to figure out 3 and 6.  Making maps would be a lot better if I didn't get an out of memory crash every 10 minutes.

I've implemented a trait that gives you a dog for #3. No dragons though and I cannot get them to be champions atm.

I'm playing around with #8 in my tech mod by subtracting 0.5 to most of the recruitment and adventure techs's monster spawn value, thereby, cutting it in half.

 

I'm sure they'll all get done eventually and nothing will make it happen faster then doing it yourself :)

1. Not possible right now since we can't import our own 3D models into the game. Sounds however shouldn't be any problem at all.

2. See point 1

3. That's rather easy to do. I think somebody is already doing it.

4. Hmmmm...that one could be complicated. How do you want the limit to work? Limit the amount of buildable cities and/or the amount of conquerable ones? All in all I doubt that this is possible.

5. Yay to the faction editor, texture mods and the ablitiy to scale units at will...so that one should be also pretty easy, however NO new 3D models here either.

6. Possible but would take damn long. New textures and tiles and objects all the way...nah.

7. Why would somebody want to do that?

8. James009D : So yeah there's the solution to that. ;)

9. Yeah...that's not hard either. Just add the unit_stat changes to the techs and there you go. Will kill your games balance however.

1 & 2.  Eventually and hopefully, this will be allowed.

4.  Was more for limiting the amount of buildable cities.  But can always conquer your neighbors.  Which would allow him to build 1 more.

Some of the stuff in the wish list is something I hope Stardock implement like Airship and the part about having an option to limit the amount of cities.  Not expecing to see it soon, but wishing it will be eventually.

Well I would like to see 2, but there is no flying in the world of Elemental...  There FFA is mean...  lol   Was annoyed that dragons do not fly...  Yes we have a giant fire breathing lizard... The wings ... What wings... thouse ...  thouse are for cooling the dragon off not flying ... I mean its a fire breathing lizard that has to keep cool some way.... ...
