It's been resceduled tp January 09 because of problems with Voodoo cards, I think.

Not due to problems, "To enhance the user experience further".

Which is marketing speak for "due to problems."

They are doing a beta for people who pre-purchased.

They just want to be safe and make sure its up to the players standards. So they are letting people who pre-ordered Entrenchment into the beta.

Can we at least get some sort of estimate on release of beta for expansion, like a month from now or week.

It will be released when it's released. Shit happens.

Complaining about it won't get them to release it any faster - and quite frankly if there are problems and they release it as a beta it will be even more work because lots of people will report the same problems many different ways and someone still has to sit down and go over each report.

I don't want to wait either, but you have to accept the fact that they are still learning too; IC hasn't been around for nearly as long as EA and EA still is a clucter-fuck of bugs, delays and shitty support.

I saw on a post somewhere that they will not be releasing a date until it is for sure, to avoid the fallout they had from a 1-day wait on the patch. It's understandable.

At least they are not rushing it and then get massive negative feedback about it. While i'm dissappointed tht it hasn't come out on the date they've said, it's still better than rushing it and missing out of content during the process.

A Beta would be good but i'd rather it not too buggy.

The date on Impulse at present is only a placeholder. No official date has been announced for the Entrenchment beta.

Get 1.1 sorted out and then let's move on the the expansion... I am as eager as anyone for the expansion(s) but I want them fixed before moving on.... and I am sure the TRUE gaming community feels strongly the same.
