Take comfort in the fact the most of us are just as stressed or more. :S

there probably were good reasons leaving your previous job and finding a new one.  You could think about those.

Stress will always be there.  A lot of stees does come from our environment but way to much comes from within, in other words we cause a lot of it

The best way to relieve stress (can't ever get rid of it) is be with the ones you love and take time for yourself, as they say take a walk and breath the air get warmed by the sun and take in a little nature.

After that get back home and get working on those skins! :O

blockade = constipated.........or maybe writers block? ;)

Turn off your Cell Phone/Page/PDA and get out of the house. Personally, I go fishing.

Me, whenever i cant think of a concept to draw, i turn to mister green -_- . But uh, other than that, like Philly said, go for a walk somewhere, by the beach, forest, whatever. Take some air in and just relax. Ya dont need to think everyone is breathing down your neck waiting every minute for your design to come out.

Take your time, if you rush it you will end up losing the creative edge.

Probably the best stress relief is exercise. Yeah, I know what Zubaz was getting at (such an angel!), but that's a form of exercise as well. Only problem is it rarely lasts long enough for cardiovascular benefit (30-40 minutes at 75% target heart rate).

So, a nice brisk walk, swimming or the equivalent....and you're on your way. Got no skinning advice for you, though.

You might also reduce stress by befriending your new coworkers...try asking advice, or even telling one of them how stressed you feel.

;)

After work, go to the rifle and pistol range, bust a couple boxes of ammo, then afterwards have a beer or two!

If this doesn't work may I suggest Skydiving with an accelerated freefall!

After you get home from your activity have a good dinner, a drink, vigorous sex, then a hot shower!**

You'll sleep like a baby!

**Not necessarily in this order...

You're causing me stress.

Leave it to Zu to take the very first post and take it right to the gutter!! (Even though we all were thinking the exact same thing!)

Here's another idea that's fun stress relief...Come here to the forums and just read for a while. With all the crazy people around here you'll get a lot of good laughs and unwind. Or...you can search all of zub's post and attempt to calculate the ratio of english spelled words to zubish spelled words. You'll be amazed at the numbers.

Nowadays it takes me all night to do what I did all night...

....damned old age. 8C >:(

As for relaxing, Tycus, try a nice long walk someplace quiet... and afterwards soaking in a warm Radox bath with some nice soothing music playing in the background.  Also, lavender oil is known to be a good relaxant... put a drop on your pillow and rub some into your temples/back of your neck before getting into bed.

Hope this helps and you sleep easy. |-)

Absolutely D 'n B!  I love archery as a stress relief!  Straight bow, Compound bow, Cross bow rifle and pistol, High-powered sling shot and Blow gun!

FYI:  RomanDA is right about the drums too! ;)

Lavender is awsome, i recommend that too. i wear it daily as a perfume oil to keep me calm.  diet is a big factor, eat tonns more fruit and veges, i have found one moring i woke up really really angry after eating fruit and veg for a few weeks straight, the night before, i ate beef, thats why i woke up so angry....grumpy, felt like blah.

make sure you get your body clock set right, every morning when you body gets hit by sunlight, your whole body including its organs reset their internal clock.  this happens every single day and night.  They never stop ticking.  so if you work odd hours, your making yrself more sick.  so try and work during the day and sleep at night ect.   i hope this helps.

cut out caffiene drinks, they do nothing but dehydrate you and give you a false boost.  Also look into natural cleanses and flushes...... gall bladder flush, bowel flush ect....... you could have too many toxins built up inside you.  most natural flushes are free and can be found on the internet,   And you will be amazed at how good flushes make you feel.

and last but not least, make sure your lifestyle isnt too hectic, if it is, you need to make changes, health as a cost, isnt a good cost.

and exercise is great too.

i hope this information is useful to you.....

xxx kitty.

I dunno, I don't get too stressed out to often (just always been part of my personality I guess). Just take things in strides and don't let them bother so much. Only advice I got... guess I'm the wrong person to ask. And I'm not worried man, I'm sure you will come up with something for the cursor :)

Laughter, always try to find some humor in any situation.  It elevates your mood and studies say this can extend your life.  Remember also that a little stress is a good thing.  It keeps you sharp and competative.   :w00t: Best of luck Tycus.
