[E-mail] Authenticity Issue: GC2 Twilight: Gamma Testing Invitation ????

I got an e-mail that I'm suspecious of. I'm posting here to ask about its authenticity.

Greetings --name removed--,

We're wrapping up Twilight for next weeks release, and I just wanted to extend an invitation to our ultra-private, members only, super-exclusive 'Gamma Testing' club!!!

I'm pretty happy with how everything feels, but would like some extra help getting the final version as polished as possible. You'd have full access to the Campaign, AI updates as they become available, and all the other little tweaks we put in.

If you want to hold off and get the goods on the release date, that's totally understandable (makes the Gold version all the more special. Just write back a quick 'no thanks' so I know who'll be testing.

If you DO want to help, then just hollar back with a 'heck yeah!' and I can get you the vital information :)

Thanks again for all your help!

Bump

I would like to know if this e-mail is authentic. If not, I want to warn the community in advance that this e-mail exists.

Could ScottT and Cari look at this post, since they are on the from and cc of the e-mail?

If anyone at stardock needs this e-mail, I can forward it.

By the way, whats the deal with creating new post anyways. Its like we are working with 2 different systems when creating a new post and a new reply. Plus quotes don't seem to work right in new posts. I had to put stuff below the quote in this next post to avoid it becoming part of the quote.

That's really from me :)

And sorry to anyone that didn't get invited...we only have time for a handfull of testers (too many and it becomes a pain to manage).
