Forums are so "disorganised"

organisation structure needs to be layed out and executed

Why are the Stardock, Objectdesktop forums so disorganised. Trying toi find topics that interest me is very frustrating and tedious. When someone makes a post can it not be automatically directed to a related folder?  For instance the stardock support board is full of everything from hundreds of posts for galactic civilizations and sins of a solar empire, which i'm not interested in, but there are posts all through the list of windows blinds and every other title.  Is there no organisation structure of someone (or machine) sorter that will file them properly?

Thanks for Listening

When somebody makes a post (like every other forum that I have been on) they choose what category it goes into.  If they choose wrong, then it ends up in the wrong spot.  Just happens.

:NOTSURE: Perhaps there's too much categories ?
I also find the whole "forums" section very unsuable
A few days ago i wanted to find back something i had read, but was unable to find it :NOTSURE: ... I tried the "search" box and i was disapointed to see it was a google search and not limited to Wincustomize forums ...

Well i've not THE solution, but there's surely something to do over there  ;)

I know in other forums the mod in charge of his\her sections are usually responsible for moving incorrect threads to the right locations. Might be a good idea here? Just a suggestion.

There are twenty zillion categories here, just select 'view all recent posts', works for me ;)

You posted a thread about forums under "Stardock Support" > "Object Desktop" and you're complaining the forums are disorganized?

Why is it that if I do a forum search and need to do another one I have to wait 20 seconds or whatever the timeout is?? Stardock needs to remove that. Is the forum that busy??

Actually, no, I'm not.

-ised is the Br and Aus spelling.  The over-use of the 'z' [pronounced zee for Americans] is parochially American.... JAFOCHECK

....and it's "you're", not "your"

....and ideally it's "slippin'" [to indicate the dropped 'g']

and.... there's a comma after the slippin', so, to get it right....

You're slippin', Jafo.

/me feels better, now....;)
