Try stopping the whole process then restarting. Also be sure that you have no listed computers in your secondary list that are not connected at that time.

Hey...
I'm having problems copying large files... is there any limitation?
I copied a 5 mb file and it was very fast (100% of 100 Mbps network)... Than I tried a 700 mb file, it appears as copying, but it does not...

It can take a while . . does the copy progress indicator finish (Or does it start?)?

Yeah,

it finishes, but the file doesn't appear in the other computer.
I'm using Windows XP and 2 Windows Vista (Home Premium and Ultimate)

i have the same issue. large files never appear on the secondary rig. anything smaller than 60 megs transfers rather quickly.

Sometimes there are issues with copying single huge files. By huge I mean 50+ megs. Multi does seem to like moving lots of medium to small files though. Even near gigs of small to medium files.

It isn't really recomended for use of moving just huge files but more for simple copy and paste functions. While it is still possible you get more speed out of a shared folder for the 50+.

well, i should clarify myself. what i meant to say was when copying lots of small files (mp3 format) from one drive to another, MP would show the files being copied in the dialog on the primary rig but the files never showed up anywhere on the secondary rig. by "lots of small files", i mean hundreds of them. if i copy maybe 20 or 20 at a time, things work as they should.

As a feature for future builds it's be nice if when a threshold was met where files "might" be lost a warning popped up.  It's not a fix . . but it might forestall frustration.

As an experiment try placing about 40-50 mp3s in a file folder and copy it instead. I noticed that when I was working with this that it seems to help. Tell me if you get something of the same.

Today I could copy a 328mb file from the primary to the secondary and back to the primary...
(about the speed part, yeah, it's really faster)
But if it's not recommended (big files), that's ok for me...

Has anyone else tried the multiple files in one folder trick yet? I get some favorable results on a few test machines.
