what is cads.exe

from WinCustomize Forums
when I finished updating windowblinds on SDC, I got a dos box with the title cads.exe and it was processing a bunch of SD directories. When it was done I did a complete search for the file on 'My Computer' and it didn't show up.

What was that?

I think it may be cacls.exe which sets the permissions on the files & directories to handle limited users.

lol... ok, which would explain why I couldn't find cads.exe need better glasses

updated to the newest and the same thing happened.

Just curious: what would have happened if I clicked one of the 2 requests to restart the computer before that cacls had completed it's processing?

It could potentially have made additional skins installed by admins unusable by limited users on the PC.
