Hollywood Wants You

Cast your life story

Hollywood has called and said they are making a movie about your life. (Wether you like it or not, warts and all)
They are willing to give you 'some' authority in the production.
You get to cast
Yourself.
Your parents
Your love interest (Sorry, there can be only one)
Your director
and
The theme song
the title
and mood (Love story, comedy, drama, action, etc)

and..there is just enough in the budget to ressurect 'one' dead actor/actress if you absolutely insist on them being in one of the mentioned roles.

I already picked mine.
me- Kevin Bacon
mom- Mary Tyler Moore
dad- Robert Duvall
love interest- Fairuza Balk
Director- Ed Wood (ressurected)
Theme song- 'Drive' by the Cars

Ummmm....perhaps! Was trying to capture.....oh nevermind. Truth is, I admire Dolly Parton as a performer, whether it be singing or acting, and nobody else came to mind...for either role.

Nothing wrong with wanting the best of both worlds, is there? Dolly would make a terrific mother

Tycus.....the whole thing was tongue in cheek, something like Scary Movie, and should not be taken seriously.

Theme song...I Will Always Love You.

Shouldn't the theme be 'Family Affair'? or 'We Are Fanily'?

And won't 'Buddy' have something to say about this?

Dolly is awesome, btw. Always liked her, but really have gotten into her bluegrass stuff. I love 'Little Sparrow' and her version of 'Shine'.

The Beverley Hillbillies were on TV at the time, I'd recently seen The Best Little Whorehousefor about the 5th time, and in keeping with the hillbilly theme, The Hills Have Eyes came to mind....a B grade horror flick about mutant hillbillies...

I just couldn't resist combining the comedy, horror and romance themes when this thread suggested a wee chance at Hollywood fame.....closest I'll ever get

Okay, so I have a warped imagination....been watching too many Wayans Brothers movies, I guess

If you do my life story "one" is where I stopped. I didn't marry until I was 23. Had to get there first. If I had to oick one to play the wife....I guess I'd go with Bridgette Wilson. Hope Sampras rots in hell.

Yep, was born with my tongue in my cheek, one hand on a joke book and the other on the giggle juice However, my nick is more a deviation on my name, rather than a state of undress....ooops, guess 'deviation' says it all.

Now I never mentioned anything about having to wear a straight jacket.....looks like I'm a gonna have to get out my bullet proof one, then.

Tooooo true....and I'm copping all this flak for picking just one Geez, and I thought you could do anything in a Hollywood movie

Okay, if nobody else is gonna say it...."That starkers is one sick puppy." There, everyone feeling better now?

Oh well, my brief movie career is over and it's back to ordinary suburban life in Aussie, without so much as an Oscar nomination

Not flamin' likely.....my first movie was a flop, people turned away from the box office in droves!

One reviewer said, and I quote: "Van Damme might have gotten away with it in 'Double Impact, but this director obviously hadn't heard that dual casting went out with Shakspeare and it should have remained in an obscure theatre in the back streets of Stratford Upon Avon."

Movie critics can be so harsh!
