That's probably more than I have done since Day One of the site.
I removed the last one twice as there is already a Joke thread to put it in if you 'must'.....or why not any of the 10 you have visible over the past 2 days?

Pointless thread-starting only adds to people's confusion and inability to find anything that really 'matters'.

I personally think it's finally getting to the point where we need 2 forums - a 'General Forum', to talk about anything, jokes, music & misc. stuff etc.. and an actual 'Skinning & Customization Forum'.

We need to separate the 2 different areas over here at Wincustomize because it's getting more popular now and splitting the forums into 2 won't take much getting used to, but will improve the site's usability and focus dramatically in my opinion.

Well, we could, but we'll just end up with all these different message boards for all sorts of different largely related topics.

Admins will end up seeing something like 3 message boards instead of 2. As much as blinding our admins can be fun, I still vote not to do so just in case they decided to be evil about it

I see where you coming from Elfkura... your thinking along the lines of deviantART or Deskmod - but with this idea there would never be more than 2 forums.

Basically one for Skinning & Customizing discussions and questions, and the other one for everything else under the sun.

I think this would work very well, and it really wouldn't take much getting used to - and compared to how the board is at the moment (the word 'jumbled' comes to mind ) I think it would be a huge improvement in just general usability.

Yeah true, but it's the same way skinz did it when Shoggot was in command. Seeing that help topics gets side tracked anyways, does it really make a difference?

However, I encourage you to email the admins about it and see what they say. That way, they can fight it out on their admin msgboard

And Doreen brings up a good point. Most people wouldn't know where to start looking anyway. My personal opinion is we can fight through all the different msgs that get started every five minutes or so, but it is easier for the admins to post something for the individuals without having to debate which section they need to post in. Lazy, yeah, I know, but knowing they still have all those wallpapers to wade through.....

But I still encourage you to email the admins about your idea

I forgot how that was Elf, but didn't Shog implement that towards the end? I just like the old msg boards where everything was just there clean & simple not all organized into catagories (I'm too lazy to dive and swim around to find stuff) but seems all the msg boards these days are into catagories and everyone else likes them so don't mind me... hehe
/me is still just a creature of habit I guess

No, Shoggot implented the msgboard so that some huge threads gets closed and moved and then start a new one... like suggestions, questions, updates, etc

when they are in catagories you have to:

1. Click on Forum
2. Click on the individual catagories
3. "Find" the newly added post to each one hidden in each catagory

old way

1. Click on Forum
2. Click on newly added post
