XML Balancing Recommendations?

Understandably, the developers are waiting to make most balance changes after GC3 is feature complete (else they'd have to balance everything all over again).

I just bought GCIII and I'm really enjoying playing. In fact, I don't see myself playing anything else for a while. So in the meantime, do you have any suggestions for any balancing by modding xml files? Have you been using any xml modifications?

Way to soon to be Moding.

However I am wondering how I could make it so that improvements can upgrade like in galciv2?

I think it is great if you have fun with modding and don't mind having all of your efforts to be for naught when the next build comes out. Just the same, I think it would be better to wait until all of the features are shipped (1Q 2015) and avoid some of the frustration of all of that lost work. I think your patience will be well rewarded.
