I've been visiting WinCustomize for some time now, and know that we are a very diverse community. I was just wondering where everyone is and where they have been. I'll start:

Interesting ittinary Peff. All in your honour.
Just one thing puzzles me, in the Sniper thread you mentionned "I was raised in large part in France - by Peff - 10/17/2002 12:12:18 PM".
So when did you live in France?

Cool. So you must speak many languages. At least English, French and Arabic?
My mom's second husband was Tunisian (from Sousse), and I was raised by him since I was 5 years old. He never taught me Arabic, I wish he had.

Yup...French and English fluently...Arabic (Tunisian dialect...oddly enough) and Spanish a lot less fluently. Some Italian too (not much, mind you).

Sousse is a very nice city. I've had many a meal everlooking the port El Kantaoui. The time I spent in Tunisia was perhaps the most enriching time of my life. The people are wonderful as is the country as a whole.

Where are you from? (Canada, me thinks - based on past threads). Also a truly beautiful country. I've often wanted to move there....this huuuumidd Florida weather is not my bag, baby.

Peff, yes, I'm from Canada. Quebec, to be specific.
Lived in the Montreal area all my life, except for two years in 1986-88 where I moved to Vancouver, BC. I've never been in Tunisia, but always dreamed to visit some day. Lived in West Africa for 4 months in 1985, as part as a Canadian Governement youth project. It was quite enriching. Changed forever the way I look at different cultures.

I have lived in Leeds, England all my life (45 years), except for the couple of years I lived in Deerfield Beach, Florida, USA (about 40 miles north of Ft. Lauderdale), and the time I spent cruising the Caribbean on the huge cruise liner The Norway. (I worked for NCL cruise lines in the ship's casino)
I currently live 100 meteres from the house I was born in.
