Hm.... I am norwegian, and considered to be on the right side of the scale (my political party is even called Høyre(Right)). Well, there is no doubt that american politics is a lot further to the right than here in Norway.

I remember these! We did them in my senior year political science class, so I brought the link home to my parents. It was a bit odd, really. Whenever we talk politics, they both consider me the leftist of the family. However, when we did the test I ended up as about two squares more conservative than either.

EDIT: It didn't surprise me that they ended up to my left, given that they met while working as political/policy functionaries for a Democratic Governor, but why they think it's the other way around I'll never know,
