Mine seems pretty stable. The campaign had a lot of glitches, as if it were designed for a previous version of the game and way too many changes to the game design made the campaign unstable, but the sandbox mode has only crashed on me once, and that was after running 3 hours straight.
I've played many times since then without a crash or even odd behavior. (Excepting a couple of frustrating design flaws of the UI, but I've already delivered my opinion of that in another thread.)
I know there's a memory leak in there somewhere, or something bad enough to crash Windows with a memory error and force a reboot, but it's only happened to me that one time and only after 3 hours running.
I'm not playing the game out of the launcher, I'm going straight from the Start Menu. Maybe that has something to do with it? I've actually had launchers / clients / etc. interfere with games before and cause them to crash, so I bypass them whenever the game publisher allows it. WoM actually doesn't even need the client to do its internet thing, the achievements and so forth, so I'm very happy about that. One less part to break; one much-needed point in Stardock's favor.
