1.03 Weapon Oversight Issues

Just a couple things I've noticed..  First off, Energetic Pulse Charging as I have pointed out before, still only affects Pulse Guns.  Yarlen commented on it and it appears this is not as intended.  It is a very simple fix so I'm assuming you guys just forgot about it with bigger issues at hand.

Also, it appears the conversion of Phase Cannons to Phase Missiles (a change that I really hope is temporary and will get changed in 1.0X with some sort of unique weapon mechanic, but in the event that it isn't) was not complete.  If they are going to stay this way, fix Desperation.  BuffDesperationSelf.entity is still set to apply the AoE buff on PHASECANNON and PULSEWAVE shots, not PM and Wave shots.  This too is a simple change, so I'm assuming that the changes to weapon types was last-second and wasn't thought through fully.

I'll help with a bump and add a demagogue's speculation: is there a way to politicize this to accuse the game makers of favoring or disfavoring a faction?  Let's find out!

Yep, my bad on this. I've uploaded a fix as a mod that resolves several reported issues:

+ Energetic Pulse Charging tech now includes FlashBeams.
+ Enemy ships now properly lose the Destabilize buff when a Vasari starbase phase jumps away.
+ Advent culture techs now properly give a phase block bonus.
+ Fixes changed weapon types for Destabilization ability.

Grab it from: https://stardock.cachefly.net/brian/103_Fixes.zip

You'll want to unzip this into:

C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.03

And then activate the mod in-game. As this is a holiday week here, it's the best I can do on short notice. Sorry gang!
