Ripped skins used in Wallpaper Changer Software

I've already post a topic on this, but strangly, it was deleted by someone ... :O

I've found a Wallpaper changer software which uses skins done by some great creators from community

The freeware version comes with a few skins i could identify (names have been changed, though i think, they have no permissions from authors to use them).

For example, Antares by treetog, Ketix by essorant, Azar by Apocalypse_67, Layout by Z71 are in the freeware version, but a shareware version called "Insane" is coming with a package of 125 skins:

I think that something should be done, though an admin of Wincustomize should verify that, and / or contact the skinners mentionned ...

You should allow the admins to handle this, have you contacted them?  It is also not a good idea to have links to the site.  Did you get a PM or email from a admin from here?  That is who probably took down the first post.

To avoid that, pm could have been used...to the artists (individually) and to Admin....I suppose.

Please do not post links to sites that may have ripped skins.  These type of concerns are best dealt by a PM to either Island_Dog or Jafo.

By posting links to possible ripped skins in the forum you are not helping.

That was not a case where ripped skins can be downloaded, but where a software is directly using ripped skins, don't see where i'm not helping ...

They are aware of the site and will look into it.

Thank you for your concern regarding potential ripping of skins.  As mentioned, a PM is the preferred method of reporting these things.

OK, just give me a feedback as i discovered this software on a french big & popular Website and already send them a mail to advert them on the potential problem with this software. They might wait for me to confirm or not to un-refer it ;)
