I was having the same problem, then I Googled it and found this post:  https://forums.stardock.com/359593, and followed Shirley's instructions:

If you're having registration errors like this and you're absolutely sure you have a current Object Desktop Subscription, reset data through Impulse.  This is under Impulse Orb > Preferences > Reset Data.

Fixed it right up.

obviously k10w3s post is a better way and hopefully a final solution but if not I've also seen others post that if they were having that issue and used the "Install All Updates" button instead then it didn't happen.

Thanks k10w3 ......first thing I thought of too.....but it didn't work for me. I'll try that zakai1369.....

The "install all updates" works for me on DeskScapes and Windowblinds every time. The only problem with this is there's no way to exclude a program in your update list if you don't want it to be updated.

You can get around that by archiving the one that you don't want to update and restoring that archive after the updates have been completed.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon but this has been going on for a few months now.

Try closing Impulse and running the following file:

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg

Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly.  Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it.  Then relaunch Impulse.  You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.

You will also need to go to the blue left side button and check the beta/prerelease button, as the reg_fix erases any prior entry there.

Same thing happened to me yesterday and Shirley and melibee were just super in getting it fixed.

Also...make sure Impulse is closed when you run the reg_fix tool and download the reg_fix with internet explorer. It won't download with any other browser.

Lantec, we gave the servers a kick and you should be OK now.

Post back if you are not.

Same thing happened to me when I tried to update WindowBlinds 7 beta last night. Impulse said my registration wasn't valid (I have Object Desktop sub). When I verified the install it said it was invalid. I uninstalled WB7 and 12 hours later it still wouldn't appear in Impulse. Did the "Reset data" trick and it is back (and installed). So, if anyone was in the same boat as me (uninstalled WB7), you'll still need to do a Reset Data in Impulse - even though the servers have been kicked :-)
